Pho Peter Restaurant: Reviews & Ratings
Funnily enough their pho (IMO) isn’t the best thing on the menu. Their shrimp salad and fried items are incredible (blows a lot of downtown Toronto joints out of the water), and their pork chop was hot, moist, and tender (and massive). Highly, highly recommend swinging by for a visit if you’re in the area. Delicious stuff
Pho Peter is a hidden gem in Brampton! If you’re a pho lover, this spot is a must-try. The broth is rich, flavorful, and easily one of the best I’ve had in the GTA. It’s the kind of place that surprises you in the best way. Cozy, authentic, and seriously delicious. Do yourself a favour and check it out!
I came to Brampton for a business trip, but most of the restaurants here are Indian. I stopped by this place because it seemed to be run by Vietnamese people. I ordered noodle soup and spring rolls. It looked like the spring rolls were handmade. It wasn’t exactly the flavor I was expecting, but it was decent overall. I wouldn’t say it was amazing, but I’d give it an average rating. There’s no automatic entrace door available for accessibility. The washroom is in the basement, but it was very clean.
Great Traditional Vietnamese food. I recommend the curry beef. The flavors were on point. The restaurant was very clean. Only complaint i had was a little attitude from owner. Highly recommended.
My nephew and niece treated me to dinner last night. I wanted to eat Vietname food and we decided to eat here. The restaurant was fairly busy when we arrived as there was a Sweet 16 party going on, plus a few tables with large groups. We ordered 2 plates of Spring Rolls (shrimp and pork). They arrived pretty quickly and we tucked in. For mains, I got my usual rice Vermicelli with grilled pork, my nephew got some Fried Rice Noodles with Vegetables and Beef; my niece ordered steamed rice with grilled chicken and fried egg. My niece loved the fried chicken and the egg dish. The other dishes were good. We felt there could have been a little more grilled pork and beef in our respective dishes (noodles and vegetables were plentiful). The service was very good. Dishes came out fast and the waiters were pleasant and efficient. Update: my nephew left his wallet behind and we realized several days later. They were really nice and honest and when we called, they told us they had it. Wow, we were so impressed with their honesty.
I recently had an exceptional dining experience at here and I just have to share how great it was. From the moment I walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere set the tone for a fantastic meal. The grilled pork with steamed rice I ordered was absolutely delicious—cooked to perfection and seasoned just right. It was clear that a lot of care went into preparing the dish. But what really made the experience special was the service. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure I felt well taken care of throughout my visit. Their genuine care and enthusiasm were evident and made the meal even more enjoyable. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, adding to the overall positive experience. It’s evident that this place takes pride in both its food and its customer service. If you’re looking for a place with great food and a genuinely pleasant atmosphere, I highly recommend checking out this place, It’s definitely worth a visit!
I love love love Pho Peter !! My boyfriend and I visit pretty frequently and always go for the Pho Tai, beef noodle soup and chicken wings. It’s always so good I’ve really never had a bad experience here. The staff are very attentive and friendly as well.
OMG, I'm so happy that I found this place... I moved in down the street about one year ago, I understand they were closed for awhile due to a Fire... I see all the amazing reviews, so I had to try it. Today I got 1 & 63 to go, the owner, Peter treated me to some complimentary Tea while I was waiting, it was great! I got home and my Spring Rolls and Pork / Shrimp / Egg Fried Rice is AMAZING!!! I'm definitely going to have enough for another meal tomorrow... I'll definitely return here soon with my friend to dine in!

At Pho Peter, the emphasis is on authenticity and quality, drawing upon traditional Vietnamese flavors that resonate deeply with pho enthusiasts. The standout feature, as many patrons have noted, is the rich and flavorful broth that defines their pho—widely regarded as one of the best in the Greater Toronto Area. While the pho is certainly a highlight, reviews from customers indicate that the shrimp salad and fried delicacies, including incredible spring rolls, are equally deserving of praise, showcasing the kitchen’s diverse talents.
Let’s discuss the appetizing offerings: customer favorites like the curry beef exhibit perfect flavoring, while the pork chop is celebrated for its tenderness and generous portions. Diners have described the pork chop as "hot, moist, and massive," nudging it into must-try territory for any meat lover. The rice vermicelli and fried rice noodles with vegetables and beef tempt with their vibrant presentation and hearty servings, though some guests have expressed a wish for larger portions of protein.
